How to Plan for a Funeral

Planning a funeral can be overwhelming filled with many decisions. We will help walk you through the planning and ordering of sympathy flowers. Families can come into our studio and meet with one of our designers to create a custom floral display that honors your loved one. Phone consulations are also availble for our customers that are not local.

Typically familes will order a casket spray. This is placed on top of the casket and can completely cover the casket or more comonly be a half couch size with would cover the bottom of the casket during the viewing and then centered when the lid is closed. You can choose from a variety of options in our catalog or provide us with color and flower choices and we can can create a beautiful custom design. We include 8 complimentary carnation boutonnieres with every casket spray order.

After the casket spray, the most commonly ordered arrangements would be an arrangement placed at the head and foot of the casket. These can be a wreath design, easel spray, or tribute arrangement designed in a container. Typically these coordinate with the casket spray creating a calm and coheasive look.

Other areas that can be adroned with flowers are the guestbook table, display table and modesty rail in the chapel of the church.
